Sarah received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, and has additional training in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP), and other evidenced-based practices for treating trauma, mood disorders, and relational distress. Sarah started her career working in community-based mental health, where she worked with children and families ages 0 to 16. From there, Sarah continued to grow as a relational and family-systems-oriented therapist, working with adults in addiction recovery and other mental health treatment settings that emphasized the importance of healing in relationships. Today, Sarah is committed to enhancing relational functioning as a means for building mental and emotional wellness. As a member of PCH’s family program team, she runs multi-family groups and provides family therapy. Sarah is also the co-founder of Rose Beach Family Therapy, a growing private practice providing relational psychotherapy to children, adults, and families in Los Angeles.
