Sara Slayden received her Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Sara has training in Mentalization Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Sara has worked for PCH for 8 years in various roles including as an Assistant Program Director, Group Therapist, and Individual Therapist. Sara has worked with clients struggling with a range of difficulties including bi-polar disorder, chemical dependency, process addiction, and trauma. Sara specializes in the treatment of OCD and Anxiety related disorders and primarily practices Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with her clients.
