Mary Kate Roohan is a clinical psychologist, drama therapist, and the founder of Thrive and Feel, a therapy practice in Pasadena, California. She has worked at PCH as an individual and group therapist since 2019. Utilizing a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and creative arts therapy techniques, she helps emotionally sensitive people gain back a sense of control over their lives. Mary Kate holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, an M.A. in Drama Therapy from New York University, and a PsyD in Applied Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School. She is especially dedicated to working with the queer community and is committed to creating a healing space for each individual she works with.
