Leslie Leitner, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, received her BA from Brown University and MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. She earned certificates in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from The Wright Institute Los Angeles and The Los Angeles Institute & Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS); as well as level 1 in EFCT (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy), Mentalization-Based Therapy and MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction). Leslie has worked extensively with cancer patients and their families, in both private practice and as part of the Cancer Support Community. Her clinical interests include working with individuals, couples and families on issues involving mood and anxiety, life transitions, creative blocks, personality and relationship issues, complex trauma, attachment issues, eating disorders as well as issues surrounding grief, loss, illness and death. For the last 10 years, Leslie has facilitated groups at PCH and worked with families as they navigate the challenges of a family member in treatment. She also maintains a private practice.
