Jake Schuster MA, AMFT received his Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. As an Assistant Program Director, Jake leads group therapy sessions, conducts individual therapy focused on Substance Use Disorders, and manages intake assessments for clients at PCH Pasadena. His graduate internship focused on providing therapeutic services to adults experiencing Substance Use Disorders and/or Gambling Disorder. Jake also developed PCH's Digital Therapeutics program, facilitating adjunct services including brain-training platform BrainHQ, Adult ADHD treatment Endeavor OTC, and BrainPaint Neurofeedback protocols. He has received training in modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mentalization-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and is a certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCSP). Jake received his Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management from University of Michigan. Prior to working in mental health, he spent the previous decade working in professional sports, before deciding to pursue a more fulfilling career. Jake has worked at PCH since 2020. He is a native Angeleno and lifelong Dodgers fan.
