Denean “Dee” Overton-Russell earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Applied Behavioral Science from Ashford University in Arizona, followed by a Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
She began her career as a Behaviorist at Autism Learning Partners, specializing in creating behavior modification plans for children with special needs and offering essential support to their families. With over twenty-five years of experience at the County of Los Angeles Department of Mental Health, Mrs. Russell has focused on developing, implementing, and evaluating mental health programs tailored to specific community and institutional needs. Her expertise includes promoting employee well-being, conflict resolution, and leading workplace mental health initiatives.
In January 2023, Mrs. Russell joined PCH as the Client Charts Administrator. Currently, she serves as the Clinical Compliance Administrator, overseeing policy development and implementation, regulatory compliance, in-house clinical chart auditing, fulfillment of medical records requests, and the supervision of the Client Care Coordinator staff.
